2015 POLL: NORTHERN ELDERS FEAR RIGING

The Northern Elders Forum (NEF) and the Northern Traditional Rulers Council (NTRC) rose from a meeting in Kaduna Wednesday alleging that ahead of next year's elections, the federal government has masterminded the mass redeployment of heavy weapons from the Northern part of the country to the south for the purpose of rigging the election.

It is either the North are handling the power at the center or there is no peace. If the North are  not in power any action taken by the president is viewed negatively. It is time the North begin to change their view about this nation for the peace of all.

Before now all the millitary weapons and barracks were in the North, neither the West, East, South nor South South complained. Now someone from the South South is handling the affairs at the center, everything he does are viewed negatively. 

It is necessary for Nigeria weapons to be evenly distributed all over the nation. All our millitary barracks nationwide should be properly equipped, no millitary barracks should be left without proper equipment.

No part of the country is more or less important.
