Santi Cazorla hit a superb brace, as Arsenal overcame a defensive Fulham side 2-0, to retain their position on top of the Premier League.
The Gunners were seeking a fifth consecutive win, after Monday’s 2-1 win at Villa Park, but despite early pressure, the hosts found it hard to break down Rene Meulensteen’s men, who were content to just sit back and soak in pressure.
However, in the second half, Cazorla made sure Arsene Wenger’s men claimed all three points, with two fine strikes. First, he latched on to Jack Wilshere’s cutback and sliced the ball past the keeper with his left, before sweeping in the second with his left, from outside the box.
