TRADITIONAL TITLE: THE OFFOR HAS LOST ITS RESPECT

Because she built a house in her village the sacred Offor of the land was placed on her head. The king stepped down from his throne to place the peoples respect on her neck. anyam afula ihe na idu ma. Imagine if all the women who has built house in their villages were given title by their kings. Our people doesn't know who a king is. The stomach has become more important than the offor of the people.

At the occasion our cherished title became KOLA NUT (OJI) for all present as the friends of the lady all got a title. For what? are we looking for people to honour? Everyone that appear on television automatically qualifies to receive a title.

We all can remember the era where every was stampeding for a title in the land. Many took to 419, rituals and arm robbery just to get a title. This should be discouraged. Building a house does not merit a traditional title. Let alone giving same to people that accompanies one to the occasion.
