A goal from Dzeko and a late one from Alvaro Negredo won the points for City against Newcastl. The 3 points place Man City one point clear of former league leader Chelsea, which had a few hour spell at the top spot.
The complete status of the premiership table will be known later as Aston Villa takes on Arsenal. Arsenal will return to the top of the league table if they succeed in winning Aston Villa.
