Barely 24 hours after holding a meeting with the immediate past Kano State governor, Ibrahim Shekarau over control of the All Progressives Congress, APC, former Sokoto State governor, Alhaji Attahiru Bafarawa, has defected from the party to the ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) with his supporters.
His political associate, Alhaji Dahaltu Akibu confirmed this yesterday in an interview with Sunday Sun in Sokoto. He said the decision was taken at a stakeholders’ meeting held with the former governor.
