Nigeria's manufacturing sector grows by 7.7 per cent from 6.5 per cent,
according to a report by the Nigerian Bureau of Statistics (NBS) in
collaboration with the World Bank.
According to the report, the retail and sales sector also went up from 22 per cent to 24 per cent and from 2012/2013.
A survey report launched Monday in Abuja by the National Bureau of
Statistics (NBS) in collaboration with the World Bank, revealed also the
resilience of Nigerians in times of economic shocks.
This is a welcome result from the Jonathan lead administration, whose focus is on moving Nigerian from import dependent to export oriented nation before he leaves office.
